Yoga, from the sanskrit “Yuj”, translates into the word “union”. Yoga, therefore, is a union of body and mind, of the physical and energetic, of the oneness with Spirit. Developed thousands of years ago, the science of yoga is a means to realize our true potential, regardless of age, race, sex or religious beliefs. The vision of yoga is a technique that teaches us how to be in the present moment. This new level of consciousness evolves through yogic practices aimed at developing an ever-increasing awareness of our various levels of experience.
