Yoga Studio at The Lodge at Weir's BeachYoga, from the sanskrit “Yuj”, translates into the word “union”. Yoga, therefore, is a union of body and mind, of the physical and energetic, of the oneness with Spirit. Developed thousands of years ago, the science of yoga is a means to realize our true potential, regardless of age, race, sex or religious beliefs. The vision of yoga is a technique that teaches us how to be in the present moment. This new level of consciousness evolves through yogic practices aimed at developing an ever-increasing awareness of our various levels of experience.

Marg Lachmuth is a certified Yoga teacher who has practiced yoga for many years. Her Vinyasa Yoga classes integrate breath, alignment, awareness, flexibility and strength in a flowing sequence of postures ranging from meditative to rejuvenating.  Classes will provide a gentle introduction to a Vinyasa Flow yoga practice and will accommodate beginner students.

Therapeutic Hatha Yoga

Elevate Your Energy with Yoga this Spring!

A 90 minute yoga experience with the intent to cultivate a deeper relationship with your practice. This is not your average hatha class! Added benefits are small class size taught by a certified Yoga Therapist, and Thai Massage & Cranial Sacral hands on assists in class.

Each class is themed for alignment and will take you deeper into areas of your body-being. Expect to tap into underworked parts of your body, discover patterns of holding, and release tight muscles to create ease and balance in the body. All levels and beginners welcome! Guidance and support will be given for your home yoga practice through instructions, tips and worksheets. Ayurveda wisdom for Spring is another passion I would love to share!

We often practice outside at the beach or in the garden – please bring sunscreen, water and an extra layer.

Dates:  Wednesdays, May 9, 16, 23 and 30th,      9:30-11:00 am

Cost:    $15 drop in, or $110 for the series of 8 classes

Private Yoga Package: 8 week yoga series + one 75 minute private yoga session for $140 (savings of $40)

Yoga & Massage Package:   8 week yoga series + one 90 minute massage therapy session for $160 (savings of $40)
